Beginning today: hundreds of utterly exclusive animated screenshots from The Man Who Fell To Earth, Bowie’s magnificent big-screen starring debut!

Directed by Nicolas Roeg, produced by Michael Deeley and Barry Spikings and written by Paul Mayersberg from the science fiction classic novel by Walter Tevis, The Man Who Fell To Earth tells the story of Thomas Jerome Newton, a brilliant humanoid extraterrestrial who comes to Earth seeking water for his own drought-stricken planet. Many Bowie fans, myself included, consider that The Man Who Fell To Earth stands proud among Bowie’s many towering achievements and may well be the best film he ever made.

Bowie’s co-stars in the movie include Candy Clark, Rip Torn, Buck Henry, Bernie Casey and the lovely Tony Mascia.

As I’m sure you already know, The Man Who Fell To Earth is an adult film with several explicit scenes, all of which will of course be included in this collection. With this in mind, in order to comply with Tumblr’s rules & regs I’ve had to flag this blog as “explicit”. I hope this doesn’t affect your enjoyment of my posts, or your ability to connect to them.

I hope you enjoy
